Truffle varieties differ clearly in intensity, and that makes choosing straightforward. Mexicana and Pajaritos are considered accessible; that is the most common starting point. The middle range includes Atlantis, Tampanensis and Mokum, among others.
Hollandia, Valhalla and Utopia are known as potent and are mainly suitable if you already have experience. As a beginner, start with a lower dose than the maximum on the packaging and wait for the effect.
How to prepare for a truffle session
Plan a session mindfully. Expect an onset of 45 to 120 minutes and a total duration of 4 to 6 hours. Choose a calm, familiar environment and keep your schedule free.
